Oxford, ME — After teams checked over their mounts following Friday’s Yvon Bedard 109, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour readied for another 125-lap affair Saturday night as part of the 52nd annual All That’s Metal Oxford 250 weekend. While several teams could not return after Friday’s showdown, thirty-seven teams joined in for Saturday’s headlining event.

A combination of chamber of commerce weather coupled with a School Bus Demolition Derby drew a standing room only crowd to Riverhead Raceway Saturday evening for another exciting race program. Eric Hersey of Commack led the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series winners when he topped the 25-lap Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modified feature. The large turnout was confirmed as the largest since Eddie & Connie Partridge & Tom Gatz began operating the historic venue in 2016 after purchasing it in 2015.

Ryan Blaney won the Cup race at Daytona. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 14th. Not so lucky was Joey Logano of Middletown, CT, who ended his day in 27th place.

Marcello Rufrano was the big winner of the night, outlasting Keith Rocco and Steven Chapman to pick up his first SK Modified® feature win of the 2025 season in an absolutely thrilling race. Other winners on the night were Kevin Gambacorta in the Late Model feature, Josh Morrison in the SK Light feature, Gary Patnode in the Limited Late Model feature, and Shawn Monahan in the Street Stock feature.

CLAREMONT, N.H. Brandon Gray won Friday night’s 50-lap Super Street Summer Six Pack main event at Claremont Motorsports Park and, with points leader Cody Schoolcraft not in the house Friday, moved to the top of the divisional points parade as the 2025 season enters its stretch run.
Other winners at the 802 Credit Union Night seven-division event included Stephen Donahue, victorious for the second week in a row in the Tour Type Late Models, Ben Poland in the Outlaw LMs, and Brian Robie, who continued his march to the championship by romping in the 604 Modified feature.
