Crew Chief Phil Moran To Leave Doug Coby Racing At End Of 2021 Season
MILFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby Racing announced on Wednesday that crew chief Phil Moran will be departing the team at the end of the 2021 race season. Moran’s final race for the team will be on Sunday, October 10, in the return of the historic Thompson 300 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, with Doug Coby behind the wheel. LaDuc Beats the Odds for Devil’s Bowl Speedway Championship
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim LaDuc needed a perfect storm to brew over Devil’s Bowl Speedway to have a chance at the 2021 Sportsman Modified track championship, and the clouds showed up at exactly the right time. Cabral, Bailey Take NEMA Wins at LEE USA’s Oktoberfest
The Northeastern Midget Association rolled into the Wrenn family’s LEE USA Speedway this past Saturday for the annual Oktoberfest event. A packed racing card highlighted NEMA and the NEMA Lites as the stars of the evening. In the NEMA feature, seven-time champion Randy Cabral came from eighth place to win the division. In the NEMA Lites division, Joey Bailey took down his first ever NEMA Lites victory in a “wreckers to checkers” story, as just over a week prior he found himself in the woods at Star Speedway.
How New England Drivers Did at Talladega Superspeedway
On Saturday afternoon T. Fogelman ended up crossing the finish line first in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series. Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT wasn’t as fortunate as he ended up in trouble on the first lap and was scored as finishing 37th. Kligerman is also a color announcer at NASCAR races.

Sanborn Snaps Long PASS Winless Drought at Milk Bowl Friday
Barre, VT — East Parsonfield, ME’s Trevor Sanborn broke a decade-plus winless streak on the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) by soaring to victory in the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel 150 at Barre’s Thunder Road on Friday, October 1.
