Things are about to heat up at Riverhead Raceway and we’re not just talking about the weather. After a week hiatus the 75th Anniversary season roars back to action this Saturday July 12th featuring a 50-lap NASCAR Modified event and the season’s first School Bus Demolition Derby. The tour type Modifieds embark on a very busy and important stretch run toward determining the 2025 championship starting Saturday and concluding with a doubleheader weekend July 26th & July 27th.
Modifieds of Mayhem and Pro Late Models Headline Action-Packed Night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway – Saturday, July 12
NASHVILLE, TN — The summer heats up in Music City as Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway roars back to life on Saturday, July 12, with a stacked night of racing featuring the Modifieds of Mayhem and a 100-lap showdown for the Nashville Pro Late Models. The event also marks the return of several quarter-mile divisions to points competition following early-season rainouts, making this a must-see night for short track fans across the region.
The headlining Modifieds of Mayhem will take on the tricky 5/8-mile for a thrilling 50-lap feature, while the Pro Late Models return for their longest feature of the season thus far — 100 laps of intense side-by-side racing.
Eckes, Sawalich, and Bryson Lead Stacked Sonoma ARCA Menards Series West Entry List
TEMPERANCE, Mich. (July 7, 2025) – Former ARCA Menards Series champion Christian Eckes and two-time ARCA Menards Series East titlist William Sawalich lead the entry list for Friday’s ARCA Menards Series West General Tire 200 at Sonoma Raceway. The ARCA Menards Series platform former champions will be joined by a stacked list of drivers that includes road racing ringers from around the world in addition to the drivers competing for the 2025 series championship.
Greg Van Alst Motorsports to Debut NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Program in July
ANDERSON, Ind: Greg Van Alst Motorsports announced today the formation of a part-time NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series team that will launch later this month at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis on July 25, 2025.
Veteran race car driver Greg Van Alst will pilot the team’s No. 35 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro throughout its inaugural schedule, with an eye toward expanding the team’s footprint in 2026.
Based in Anderson, Indiana, the team plans to compete in a minimum of four Truck Series events this season.
