BECHTELSVILLE, PA    JUNE 2,  2025  . . . . . .  A spectacular NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Double Header featuring the USAC National Non Wing Sprint Tour and the Grandview 358 Modifieds will highlight the Tuesday night, June 17 racing event brought to you by Alpine Building Supply.   This marks the 18th Annual USAC Levan Machine & Truck Equipment Eastern Storm and after all qualifying, the main event is the 40 lap $6,000 to win Jesse Hockett Classic.   For the 358 Modifieds, they too will take part in a series of qualifying events leading up to their 30 lap $3,000 to win main event.    An added bonus posted is the Alpine Building Supply $2,000 first time Thunder on the Hill Modified feature winner.   That makes it a $5,000 payday for just 30 laps for a first-time modified winner.      Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.

Riverhead Raceway Clarifies Chase Van Houten Penalty
Saturday evening May 24th, Chase Van Houten of Wading River was penalized after his victory in the 20-lap INEX Legend Race Car feature event. On Friday afternoon Riverhead Raceway officials clarified the penalty.
Chase Van Houten was disqualified for Unsportsmanlike Conduct post-race, not verbal abuse of a NASCAR official. No additional penalties will be forthcoming when the INEX Legend Race Cars return to action Saturday June 7th, 2025, for a 20-lap event.

Rocco, Coury, Matthews, Surdell, & Ouellette Score AZ Roofing Kids Night Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted AZ Roofing Kids Night on Friday, May 30th, the first of three kids nights scheduled for the 2025 season.  Keith Rocco was a SK Modified® winner for a second consecutive race, while Wayne Coury, Jr. won the Late Model feature, Chris Matthews won the SK Light feature, RJ Surdell won the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette was a winner for the second time in 2025 in the Street Stock feature.  There were two kids big wheel races with Memphis Genereux and Evan DaRos the winners.

Brynildsen Crowned ERC King of Scandinavia With Thrilling Victory

Eyvind Brynildsen is a first-time winner in the FIA European Rally Championship after he came out on top of a thrilling battle for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia glory on Saturday.

Armed with a Pirelli-equipped Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, Brynildsen triumphed by 4.9sec from Finn Roope Korhonen – the winner of the last round in Hungary – in an MRF-shod Yaris. Korhonen won the final Power Stage to snatch second away from local hero Isak Reiersen, who had been locked in an intense fight with Brynildsen throughout the weekend.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Race at Seekonk Speedway Postponed to Sunday Due to Weather

J&R Precast 150 Moved to Sunday, June 1, at 3 p.m. ET

SEEKONK, Mass. — Due to forecasted inclement weather, Seekonk Speedway and NASCAR officials announced today that the J&R Precast 150 & NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series divisions will now race on Sunday, June 1 at 3 p.m.

The event will begin with NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying at 2:30 p.m., followed by qualifying heats for the Seekonk Late Models, Helger’s Sportsman and Sport Trucks.

Entering the final weekend of what is one of the wettest months of May on record, Riverhead Raceway had been able to skirt the wet stuff, until now. Friday morning track management announced with a highly unfavorable forecast projected; they were moving the Saturday evening NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program to Sunday afternoon June 1st. The Local Sports League Team Night that was schedules for Sunday will also move to Sunday afternoon as well.

More than a year has passed since Jake Johnson brought Ole Blue back to Victory Lane on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, a win that arrived at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire.

A lot has changed for Johnson since that day, but his commitment to winning in Modifieds remains unwavering. Now part-time in the series with JMA Motorsports, Johnson is set to make his second Modified Tour appearance with the program in Saturday’s J&R Precast 150 at Massachussets’ Seekonk Speedway.
