Montpelier, VT — The American-Canadian Tour rounded out the 2024 season on Saturday, holding the annual Banquet of Champions at the Capitol Plaza in Montpelier. Over 130 drivers, team members, sponsors and officials joined the official season ending celebration in the Governor’s Ballroom, congratulating one another in between tall tales and a few war-stories from the past season. Generous gift will help Victory Junction provide camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions for generations to come
RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Dec. 13, 2024) – With the support of his family, NASCAR legend Richard Petty has donated approximately 403 acres of land to Victory Junction, a year-round camp for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions. The donation includes 8 parcels of land adjacent to the camp’s current 140 acres, 84 which were originally donated by Richard Petty and his late wife, Lynda, to help launch the Camp 20 years ago.
