Joey Logano of Middletown, CT won the Cup race while Corey LaJoie came in 14th with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finishing 22nd. Corey LaJoie is the son of Norwalk, CT native Randy LaJoie who won two Xfinity Titles during his long career.
A.J. Allmendinger won the Xfinity race while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in fifth with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finishing 19th.  Next was Kyle Weatherman in 20th while Blair Perkins was 31st.  Weatherman and Perkins drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris Our and his daughter  Mary who live in Chatham, MA.

Porsche is tweaking its Porsche Penske Motorsport works team driver lineup for the 2025 season. In contrast to the 2024 season, now just two drivers will regularly contest the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Former Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer from France has been promoted to the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer’s works driver squad for next year. Three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer from Germany and four-time IMSA Champion Dane Cameron will leave the successful Porsche 963 programme after their contracts expire at the end of the year.
