Joey Logano of Middletown, CT won the Cup race while Corey LaJoie came in 14th with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finishing 22nd. Corey LaJoie is the son of Norwalk, CT native Randy LaJoie who won two Xfinity Titles during his long career.
A.J. Allmendinger won the Xfinity race while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in fifth with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finishing 19th. Next was Kyle Weatherman in 20th while Blair Perkins was 31st. Weatherman and Perkins drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris Our and his daughter Mary who live in Chatham, MA.

Dempsey-Wright Motorsports, Dempsey, and Long Welcome Tanner Foust to Austin Six-Hour Effort
BATAVIA, Ohio. (October 22, 2024) – In anticipation of the conclusion of the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America championship at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) next month, Dempsey-Wright Motorsports has announced the addition of Tanner Foust to the driver lineup of the No. 98 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, joining Patrick Dempsey and Patrick Long to the season finale event.

The Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 weekend is set for Friday-Sunday, November 1-3, 2024. Each of the three days will be action packed, with something for every race fan.
Action begins on Friday, November 1 with Championship Night for the ¼-mile classes. Six different feature events are set to take on the tight confines of the ¼-mile track to battle it out for the final points night of the season. (Oct. 22, 2024) Times may change, tradition rolls on which is why Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Budweiser are reuniting to bring back one of the most recognizable paint schemes in racing history. The NASCAR Hall of Famer will drive the historic No. 8 Chevrolet with the iconic Bud King of Beers paint scheme once again for a limited series of Late Model Stock Car Races in 2024 and 2025. Porsche Penske Motorsport Switches up Its Driver Squad for the 2025 Season
- Two regular drivers pilot the works-Porsche 963 in IMSA and WEC
- Julien Andlauer signs on as the new works driver in WEC
- Andlauer/Christensen and Estre/Vanthoor contest the WEC
- Campbell/Jaminet and Nasr/Tandy tackle IMSA
Porsche is tweaking its Porsche Penske Motorsport works team driver lineup for the 2025 season. In contrast to the 2024 season, now just two drivers will regularly contest the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Former Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer from France has been promoted to the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer’s works driver squad for next year. Three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer from Germany and four-time IMSA Champion Dane Cameron will leave the successful Porsche 963 programme after their contracts expire at the end of the year. Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki and Porsche Motorsport have agreed to conclude their collaboration after eleven years. (more…)

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Russ Hersey continued his incredible out-of-retirement October winning streak, Justin Beecher soared to victory in the Super Streets, and Cole Littlewood, aboard a totally unfamiliar ride, dominated the Pro V8 Sportsman feature Saturday at Claremont Motorsports Park.
No fewer than a dozen feature events were contested Saturday, as the historic Thrasher Road speedplant hosted day two of its ambitious 2024 Fall Challenge three-pack. A staggering field of 106 cars filled the pits Saturday, none faster than the rocketship Little Webb’s 350 Super Modifieds, which blasted through two 25-lap feature events. (more…)

Oxford, ME — One last go-round for the ACT Flying Tiger Tri-State Series brought twenty-four Vermont and New Hampshire drivers over the border to the State of Maine for Saturday’s championship finale for the three-race series at Oxford Plains Speedway. While an end-of-season Flying Tiger showdown has been held annually at Oxford Plains since 2019, Saturday’s showcase became a first for ‘North America’s #1 Support Division’ with a point-counting event crowning a champion at the 3/8-mile Maine oval!
