The 15th annual Gift of Lights opens Thanksgiving evening at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with millions of lights.
LOUDON, N.H. – The 2.5-mile drive-thru light show that’s become a New England family tradition is back at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) shining bright with millions of lights for its 15th holiday season. Gift of Lights will spread 39 nights of holiday cheer while fundraising for the local community from Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025 through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
$41,650 Purse Announced For 9th Annual Islip 300 November 15th At Riverhead Raceway, $12,000 Awaits Winner
The Riverhead Raceway management team over the weekend announced via their social media platforms the posted purse for the 9th annual Islip 300 Tour Type Modified spectacular Saturday November 15th. Track owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz disclosed that $41,650 will be up for grabs during the 75-mile, 300-lap contest, with the winner pocketing a cool $12,000. Chase Grennan of Glen Cove is the defending race winner and will seek to become the first driver to win back-to-back Islip 300 events.

Activity and excitement surrounding the 9th annual Islip 300 Saturday November 15th at Riverhead Raceway building for the $12,000 to win tour type Modified spectacular. Monday, track management announced free registration for the Islip 300 and support classes is now open, as well revealing several major changes to race procedure for the 300. Chase Grennan of Glen Cove scored a huge upset win at just 17-years old last November, and the college freshman hopes to become the first back-to-back winner of the short track classic next month.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Riley Herbst finally accomplished what every driver strives for when they get behind the wheel of a race car – a trip to Victory Lane. His first win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series came after 139 starts, 24 top fives, 68 top 10s and three Xfinity Series Playoff appearances (2020, 2021, 2022).
