First-Look Entry List For Sunshine State 200 Pensacola, FL

Pensacola, FL (February 27, 2023) – An impressive list of drivers is lined up for the inaugural event for the ASA STARS National Tour, the Sunshine State 200, on March 10-11 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL. 31 drivers are on the early entry list still two-weeks out from the historic event at the famed ½-mile oval in the Panhandle of Florida.

The list includes 20 champions of Late Model racing, seven Super Late Model crown jewel winners and two ARCA Champions. In fact, nearly 90-percent of the drivers currently registered have won Late Model races in their careers. (more…)

ASA STARS Event Tabbed Sunshine State 200 At Five Flags Speedway

Pensacola, FL (February 3, 2023) – After Speedweeks, if you are starving for sunshine and a little warmth to boot, Florida, with the ASA STARS National Tour, will be the place to do it.

Series officials revealed today that the inaugural event for the national tour on Saturday, March 11, at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL will be the Sunshine State 200. The 200 lap pavement Super Late Model race to kickoff a 10-race, six-state tour for the series in 2023. (more…)

44th Fall Foliage 200 Could Play Huge Factor into ACT Tour Championship Hopes

Barre, VT — After taking a week off, the American-Canadian Tour returns to their Granite State home at North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 44th Fall Foliage 200. The extra-distance, $5,000-to-win Fall Foliage event is the final of three at the New Hampshire oval for the American-Canadian Tour in 2022 and comes at a pivotal time of the season.

Montmagny, QC — For the first time since 1999, the American-Canadian Tour returned to Autodrome Montmagny and 23-years later once again brought a field of thirty cars to the Quebec three-eighths mile. Once an annual stop on the former Serie-ACT Quebec series, Autodrome Montmagny is a huge supporter of the ACT Late Model program and has also played host to the Pro All Stars Series and Quebec Sportsman Series as a racing hub in Quebec. Every time the popular NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour rolls into Riverhead Raceway on Long Island it is usually noted along the way the last time a track regular won a WMT event was back in 1995. Saturday night Kyle Soper of Manorville, the reigning champion at the quarter mile bullring scored one for the home team winning the Buzz Chew Chevrolet 200 after reclaiming the lead from defending WMT kingpin Justin Bonsignore of Holtsville with 10-laps remaining. Doug Coby Looks For Second Straight Riverhead Win with Tommy Baldwin Racing in Buzz Chew 200; Welcomes Mayhew Tools To The 7NY

MILFORD, Conn. – After years of coming close, Doug Coby finally broke into NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Victory Lane at Riverhead Raceway last season. His first Riverhead win seemed to open the flood gates – as the Milford, Connecticut, six-time Whelen Modified Tour champion has won three of the last four races at the track. In the only other event, he was racing at the front early before contact sidelined him from the race.
