Barre, VT — The top runners of the 2022 American-Canadian Tour and Thunder Road seasons were honored with the annual Banquet of Champions in Barre, Vermont on Saturday. Over 300 drivers, team members, family and series staff flooded into the Barre Elks Club to celebrate the season’s accomplishments with over $75,000 in point funds and contingency awards released to the hard-earned weekly warriors of Thunder Road and the touring powerhouse teams of the American-Canadian Tour.

Matt Hirschman of Northampton, Pa., is the most prolific racer in the history of the Race of Champions Modified Series. On Saturday afternoon at Lancaster (N.Y.) Motorplex, Hirschman raced to yet another victory.

Martinsville was a must win situation for several drivers this weekend and none more than Christopher Bell who was the furthest back in points coming into the race. Once again, Bell rose to the occasion and won another win or go home race. His win sets the final four drivers heading to the championship race at Phoenix.
Waterford, CT — The 2022 American-Canadian Tour was finalized Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl for the return of the Shoreline 150. Thirty-six teams attempted to qualify for twenty-six spots in the season-ending event with the Southern New England Triple Crown championship in the minds of several teams looking to ride out the year with a little extra change in their pockets. Jeb Burton will be leaving Our Motorsports at the conclusion of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Burton will finish the current season in the No. 27 for the final two races of the year.
