HighPoint.com Racing: Chase Briscoe Michigan Advance

The FireKeepers Casino 400 is round No. 24 on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, and it will mark Chase Briscoe’s fourth career start at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. The driver of the No. 14 HighPoint.com Ford Mustang has made three previous starts at the 2-mile, D-shaped oval, with his best result coming in his first Cup start at the track in 2021 when he finished 11th. Luck has been fleeting in the Irish Hills region of Michigan since then, with Briscoe logging results of 20th and 31st in his last two Cup starts at the track. (more…)

Rick Ware Racing: Justin Haley/Cody Ware Michigan Advance

Justin Haley, driver of the No. 51 Fraternal Order of Eagles Ford Mustang Dark Horse, will make his fourth NASCAR Cup Series start Sunday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. Kyle Larson earned his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Michigan International Speedway in 2016, a win that was part of a streak of three consecutive triumphs in the Irish Hills (the last three wins for Chevrolet at this track). Next up for Josh Berry and the No. 4 Overstock.com Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing is Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, where he’s made two previous starts in the NASCAR Cup Series. The first came in 2021 as a substitute in the No. 7 entry for driver Corey LaJoie. Berry started 24th and finished 26th. He returned in 2023 in the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club entry and started 35^th but saw his day end on lap 50 of the scheduled 200-lap race after being involved in an on-track incident. (more…)

Justin Haley, driver of the No. 51 Pinnacle Home Improvements Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing (RWR), will make his eighth NASCAR Cup Series start at the .75-mile Richmond (Va.) Raceway.
