Jesse Love has won the pole position for the last three races at recently-christened EchoPark Speedway but hasn’t won a race there.
In fact, Love has been an excellent stalking horse for teammate Austin Hill, who has underscored Richard Childress Racing’s absolute dominance at the 1.54-mile track by winning the last three races and five of the last six—all since the repaving and reconfiguration was completed in 2022.

AVONDALE – Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell undoubtedly starts the NASCAR Cup Series two-race Western Swing as the driver to beat. The 30-year-old is the defending winner of Sunday’s Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway (3:30 p.m. ET on FS1, FOX Deportes, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) and has won two of the first three series races this year, including the last two.
Of course they can!
But it is an interesting look at the way the playoffs are shaping up.
Take Texas for instance. Kyle Larson dominated the race and a few playoff drivers kept their hopes alive but the Top 5 was actually dominated by drivers who have already been eliminated and 5 of the Top 10 drivers aren’t even in the playoffs. (more…)
