GM Poised to Sign New Supercars Deal

General Motors is set to sign a new agreement with Supercars, ensuring the Chevrolet Camaro races on in the championship in 2025 and beyond.

Supercars struck a deal with GM in 2020 for the development of a Gen3 Camaro race car, the IP of which is owned by the championship.

It was a critical move for the category following the demise of GM’s Australian brand Holden, keeping the long running racetrack rivalry with Ford alive. (more…)

Chambers and Stewart Named Recipients of Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program

Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) and Deluxe Corporation have expanded the Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program with two more drivers, Chloe Chambers and Madeline Stewart. Chambers represents the Cayman class, which uses the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, while Stewart will carry the banner for the class utilizing the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type 992 race car. Chambers and Stewart join Sabré Cook as the 2023 recipients of the Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program scholarship.

Single truck single lap qualifying will set the starting grid for the 100-lap race later in the evening. Qualifying will be shown LIVE on FS1 at 3:10 PM ET Friday, February 12, 2021.
