POMONA, Calif. – Bob Tasca III of Hope, RI and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Funny Car Team won the Auto Club NHRA Finals this evening (Nov. 14). As a result, Tasca vaulted into third place in the final 2021 NHRA Nitro Funny Car standings, setting a personal best. Twelve time Grandview Speedway T.P.Trailers Modified champion Craig Von Dohren has been named the 2021 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Northeast Region champion earning the veteran Oley, PA driver $15,000. This goes along with the $3,500 that that popular racer earned from NASCAR as track champion and $10,000 that he received from the Rogers family for winning their Grandview Speedway track title. They can see it in action this weekend as it paces the National Auto Sport Association National Championships Presented by Toyo Tires. The pace car role kicks off this Thursday, September 16, as Toyota’s latest Gazoo Racing sports coupe leads racers at Daytona International Speedway. Winner-take-all championship races take place Sunday, September 19.
