Lincoln, IL – The countdown is on as just four weeks remain until the 2026 Door Buster Season Opener at Lincoln Speedway on Friday, April 3. Fans can expect a full night of dirt track action as six divisions of racing take to the Logan County Fairgrounds oval to kick off another exciting season.

Headlining the opening night program will be the DIRTcar Pro Late Models, joined by a strong lineup that also includes DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Pro Mods, DIRTcar Sportsman, MARA Midgets, and Crown Vics. With a wide mix of divisions and drivers expected to compete, the Door Buster opener traditionally delivers one of the most exciting nights of racing of the season.

Teams Celebrate the Night Away at Annual WMMP Banquet of Champions

Woodstock, NH — Friday night saw the White Mountain Motorsports Park family of race teams come together one final time to celebrate the 2025 season at the annual Banquet of Champions at the Bethlehem Elks Club #1831. The packed crowd celebrated the season in style with plenty of stories, laughs and more than a few botched dance moves by the end of the evening!

Seven-Time ASA Champion Mike Eddy, 72, Passes Away
  • A legend in the short-track racing world, Mike Eddy won 58 ASA National Tour events during his storied career.

Zach Evans from Racing America reports that short-track racing legend Mike Eddy, 72, passed away on Thursday morning, May 29, his family confirmed on social media.

Eddy is best known as a seven-time champion on the American Speed Association (ASA) National Tour, an all-time record in the series. His 58 wins with the series place him second only to Bob Senneker, and no one holds more ASA championships than “The Polar Bear.”

Barre, VT – Thunder Road Speedbowl and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials announced this morning that the 27th annual Community Bank 150, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 4, has been postponed due to the forecast. The Community Bank 150 has been moved to Sunday, June 1 with all four originally-scheduled divisions. All Pit Passes purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored on June 1, teams must keep and present them at the gate as their rain-check.
