Formula 1 is considering sprint races to replace traditional F1 Saturday qualifying at three tracks in 2021. The new format has been proposed as a trial for F1 Grands Prix at Montreal, Monza and Interlagos. New F1 chief executive Stefano Domincali has said that the new format is just one more way to try to attract new fans to Formula 1.
