N. Woodstock, NH — Following last week’s Late Model Spectacular, White Mountain Motorsports Park gears up for a doubleheader Father’s Day weekend on Saturday, June 17th and Sunday, June 18th. Eleven divisions will be in action between the two days but it all begins on Saturday with the triple-touring action courtesy of the New England Antique Racers (NEAR) and the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros.
Despite being under the weather during the week, Dylan Slepian of Dix Hills felt just fine Saturday at Riverhead Raceway once strapped into his NASCAR Modified. He felt even better at the end of 50-laps after executing a late race outside pass of Jack Handley Jr. of Medford to score his second win of the season.
Seekonk Speedway is preparing for a full weekend of racing this Friday and Saturday, August 5-6, as Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Finale weekend rolls onto the track.
Someone needs to load up Ray Hodge, Chemung Promoter, and Joe Skotnicki, RoC Director, and take them to a casino. On a day when racetracks all over NY were cancelling, they decided to gamble and go for it. They came out on the winning end as the event ran with just one minor snag. (more…)
A chance conversation started during the 2020 Islip 300 last November at Riverhead Raceway morphed into Shawn Solomito of Islip teaming up with Jimmy & Angela Rennick as the driver of their NASCAR Modified and in just their second start together Saturday night Shawn put the new combination into the winners circle at the conclusion of the 50-lap Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified event. WALPOLE, N.H. — Rising Super Late Model driver Tyler Tomassi will look to break into Victory Lane for the first time with the Granite State Pro Stock Series this Saturday, May 8 at Star Speedway. Although Tomassi has no previous laps at Star, he’s hoping to become a quick study of the tricky New Hampshire oval and be there at the end of the Hedges Excavating 100.
