TeamSLR: Barry Boes, Julian DaCosta, Thomas Ellis, Tristan McKee Lead Four-Car VIR Assault

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2024) – Storylines abound throughout the four-car TeamSLR stable as it heads to the penultimate Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series round of the season at Virginia International Raceway in Alton for Sunday’s VIR SpeedTour.

Its 2024 fulltime driver Barry Boes arrives at the 3.27-mile, 17-turn circuit on the Virginia-North Carolina state line with a seemingly insurmountable lead in the Pro-Am Challenge standings with an eye on clinching the title with another strong result this weekend. Joining him in the TeamSLR camp are teenage rising stars Julian DaCosta and Tristan McKee, and veteran driver Thomas Ellis, who will be making his fourth TA2 appearance of the season.

TeamSLR: Barry Boes, Julian DaCosta Set for Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

(Aug. 28, 2024) – Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, which began its life as an iconic road-racing circuit known as Mosport Park, plays host to its first Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli headline event since 2014 this weekend, and TeamSLR and its M1 Racecars equipment are ready for the challenge with drivers Barry Boes, the TA2 Pro-Am Challenge-class frontrunner, and 16-year-old Julian DaCosta, who will be making his second career TA2 start.

Former SK Light Champion Tyler Barry to Challenge For SK Mod Rookie Honors in 2024 at Stafford

Barry will have his sights set on capturing NAPA Rookie of the Year honors with his #18 Pro Systems Integration team as well as trying to continue his streak of winning 1 race per season that he began with his SK Light debut in 2021.

Tyler Barry Races to R.A.D. Auto Machine Rookie of the Year Honors at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 2021 season at Stafford Speedway saw 15-year-old Tyler Barry make the move from Legend Cars to the SK Light Modified division. The 4^th generation driver with a name familiar to many modified fans had an up and down year but he ended his rookie season on the highest of notes by taking his #18 Clearcom I.T. Solutions / Pro Systems Integration Chevrolet to NAPA Victory Lane. For the season, Barry posted 1 win, 4 top-5, and 10 top-10 finishes to carry him to R.A.D. Auto Machine SK Light Rookie of the Year honors.
