HAMPTON, Ga. – Christopher Bell prevailed in overtime to claim the victory in Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway – officially leading only the final lap and getting the photo nod in a three-wide run as a caution flag came out on the last lap to end the NASCAR Cup Series race.
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 7, 2025) – The easiest pre-season NASCAR Cup Series prognostication is that Christopher Bell will win races and contend for the championship. With victories in each of his last four seasons and subsequent playoff appearances, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is proving to be outrageously dependable, just like his co-primary partner for the Daytona 500, Interstate Batteries.

Bell Media will be the exclusive home of all three NASCAR national series
REV TV joins as broadcast partner of NASCAR Canada Series
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 16, 2025) – NASCAR announced today multiple media rights deals that bolster its presence in Canada, the sport’s largest international market, highlighted by the expansion of its decades-long partnership with Bell Media.
BELL AT ATLANTA: Christopher Bell has one top-five and two top-10 finishes in his previous eight starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). In the spring race this year Bell suffered damage from an incident early in the race, resulting in a 34th-place finish. Bell’s best finish of third came in the spring of 2023 at the 1.54-mile track.
BACK ON THE BOX: Crew chief Adam Stevens will return to the track this Sunday at Atlanta.
STEVENS PLAYOFF HISTORY: Adam Stevens has guided his teams to playoff berths in each of his 10 seasons as a NASCAR Cup Series crew chief. The 2015 and 2019 championship-winning crew chief also holds the record for most Championship 4 appearances by a crew chief with seven, including the past two years with Christopher Bell. (more…)
BELL AT DARLINGTON: Christopher Bell had one of his strongest NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) runs at Darlington a year ago when he qualified on the pole and led 40 laps. Overall, Bell has one top five and two top-10 finishes in his previous 10 starts at Darlington Raceway.
DOUBLE DUTY: Bell will be driving the No. 20 Sport Clips Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing in Saturday’s Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200. Outrageously Dependable for 33 Years and Counting: Interstate Batteries has 11 primary sponsorships on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2024, a similar number of schemes to last year’s expanded presence among all four Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Toyota Camry XSEs. Bell and Ty Gibbs have been slated for the majority of the Interstate Batteries races this season with eight primaries in all between the two drivers. Denny Hamlin piloted the Interstate Batteries machine for two races this season and Martin Truex Jr. once. After this weekend in Daytona, Bell will see Interstate return as co-primary sponsor on his No. 20 Camry in the season finale in November at Phoenix Raceway. (more…)
Christopher Bell’s best finish in five NASCAR Cup Series starts at Michigan International Speedway is a trio of 13th-place finishes, including the race last August. Bell, who won the pole award last year, has started on the front row in both Michigan races with the Next Gen car. The Oklahoma native also finished second in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Michigan during his 2017 championship season. (more…)
