Wiscasset Speedway opened up their action-packed weekend on Saturday with a loaded 8-race schedule that included all weekly Group 1 divisions in addition to the visiting Senior Tour Auto Racers and the lightning-fast 350SMAC Tour.
TALLADEGA, Ala. (April 17, 2025) – Talladega Superspeedway announced today that the late NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison will be honored during a special parade lap as part of pre-race ceremonies for the NASCAR Cup Series Jack Link’s 500. Allison’s famed 1969 Mercury Cyclone will be driven around the track by his grandson Robbie Allison following the National Anthem.

Al Unser Jr. Joins as Honorary Pace Car Driver

Record books reflect Allison as fourth on all-time Cup Series wins list with 85
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2024) — NASCAR today announced its recognition of Bobby Allison as the official winner of the NASCAR Cup Series Myers Brothers Memorial at Bowman Gray Stadium on August 6, 1971. The NASCAR record books have been updated to reflect Allison in sole possession of fourth place on the all-time Cup Series wins list with 85 wins.
There is no shortage of star power as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway this Sunday for the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150.
Headlining the entry list are two NASCAR Cup Series legends – 2008 Daytona 500 winner Ryan Newman and 2000 series champion Bobby Labonte. Newman is piloting the No. 77 Modified for Mike Curb, while Labonte is in the No. 38 for Sadler-Stanley Racing. (more…)
