Devil’s Bowl Speedway Makes Late-Season Schedule Changes

LaDuc Wins as Point Battle Heats Up at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim LaDuc saw an opportunity present itself at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, September 11, and he seized it. The veteran dirt Modified racer from Orwell, Vt., grabbed his second win of the season on Heritage Family Credit Union “Member Night” and is now in the hunt for his first track championship in 21 years. Sobotka Sizzles in the Drizzle to Win Vermont 200 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Zach Sobotka was already having a dream weekend when he arrived at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on the morning of Sunday, September 5, and he headed home with an even bigger highlight and a huge paycheck. The 26-year-old opened his Labor Day holiday weekend by winning at Brewerton (N.Y.) Speedway and clinching that track’s Sportsman Modified championship on Friday night, and he wrapped it up by capturing the Fabian Earth Moving Vermont 200 and pocketing $12,942 in winnings on Sunday. Ryan Nips LaDuc for Vermont 200 Qualifier Win at Devils Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Jimmy Ryan had gone two years without winning a Sportsman Modified race at Devil’s Bowl Speedway until he scored on July 31. The next win took just four weeks, but that’s only part of the story. The Shoreham, Vt., veteran’s win was the highlight of The Stove Depot Night on Saturday, August 28, and Troy Audet, Chris Murray, Austin McKirryher, Willie Rice, Kamden Duffy, and Cody Greene also visited the winner’s circle. Officials have posted $62,000 in total awards for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models at “The Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America” along with big purses for the track’s local divisions in their Mini Milk Bowls.
Palmer, Hoard Top Double Feature Night at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The hot and humid weather turned into a hot night of dirt track racing action at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 21 as new sponsor 2nd Amendment Shooting Supplies of Brandon, Vt., presented the event. Reckner Leads Parade of Underdogs to Open Big Weekend at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Elmo Reckner won big on an exciting night of dirt track racing at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 14, winning the Rutland Regional Medical Center “Healthcare Heroes Night” feature for the headline Sportsman Modified division. Other winners on the night included John Gosselin, Chris Murray, rookie Daryl Gebo, and Kamden Duffy.
