LAS VEGAS — It’s time to take the Wood Brothers seriously.
Josh Berry’s victory in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway wasn’t a bolt from the blue like Trevor Bayne’s win in the 2011 Daytona 500.
It wasn’t a parting shot like Harrison Burton’s superspeedway victory in last summer’s Daytona race.
[KANNAPOLIS, NC] – Haas Factory Team announced Tuesday that Autodesk will serve as the primary sponsor for its No. 41 Ford Mustang and driver Cole Custer for two NASCAR Cup Series races this season.
Autodesk’s 2025 debut will be this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and they will also adorn the hood at Sonoma Raceway (July 13). The company previously sponsored Custer from 2020 to 2022 in the NASCAR Cup Series, and in 2024 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. (more…)
A 1971 Cadillac first owned by the late John Entwistle, fabled bassist with rock group The Who, is up for auction.
Estimated at £15,000 – £25,000, it will go under the hammer with H&H Classics on Wednesday 9th April in its auction at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.
After Casey Mears’ full-time NASCAR career ended in 2017, he returned to his roots in off-road racing. While things have been going smoothly for him in the desert, he’s also only 11 starts away from hitting 500 career Cup Series races. (more…)

LAS VEGAS — When commenting on the NASCAR approval process over the last week, almost every driver added a caveat: It’s not about Katherine Legge.
They said it out of respect for Legge’s lengthy career and racing resume. Those advocating for change after Legge’s two-spin Cup debut at Phoenix a week ago were advocating for it out of respect for their quest to be NASCAR Cup Series champions.
Josh Berry won the NASCAR Cup race. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in third. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT placed 15th.
In Saturday’s Xfinity race it was Justin Allgaier who made it to Victory Lane while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finished 18th. Kris Wright got 25th in Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our entry. Both father and daughter reside in Chatham, MA.

Petersburg, W.V.: A.L.L. Construction Racing announced today that the team will field a full-time entry in the ARCA Menards Series East with newcomer Isaac Kitzmiller, starting with the 2025 season opener at Five Flags (Fla.) Speedway on March 22, 2025.
Isaac Kitzmiller, the teenage son of ARCA Menards Series championship-contending driver Jason Kitzmiller, will make the jump to the eight-race ARCA East platform following an impressive 2024 racing season. (more…)

LAS VEGAS—Winning an intense battle against Daniel Suárez after a restart with 19 laps left, Josh Berry pulled away to a convincing victory in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The win was Berry’s first in the NASCAR Cup Series at a track where he won twice in a NASCAR Xfinity Series car. Berry is the fourth straight Wood Brothers Racing driver to pick up his first Cup win in the No. 21 Ford.
Toby Christie’s Joseph Srigley reports that Casey Mears, who hasn’t competed in a NASCAR Cup Series event in more than five years, will return to compete in the March 30 event at Martinsville Speedway. Mears will pilot the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Garage 66.
Mears is looking to achieve 500 career starts, Martinsville will bring Mears to within 10 starts of the milestone. (more…)
