INDY NXT Driver and Indiana Native Jack William Miller Becomes Brand Ambassador for Fleddermann von Rieste
  • Aspiring INDYCAR Racer To Represent Brand’s Growing Line of Luxury Watches

INDIANAPOLIS (April 17, 2025) – Fleddermann von Rieste, an independent Indiana-based watch brand, has expanded its roster of brand ambassadors by welcoming INDY NXT driver Jack William Miller.

The 21-year-old Miller is the only INDY NXT driver born in the Hoosier State. He is from the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel and is currently in the midst of his junior year at Indiana University Indianapolis where he majors in biology.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – After opening the season with the 36 Hours of Florida (aka the Rolex 24 At Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring), the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship changed things up with the 100 minutes of Southern California (aka the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach).

Not only was the sprint race a fraction of the length of either of the first two events, the competition was pared down from four classes – Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) – to two classes: GTP and GTD.

New England Racers And Their Results From This Past Weekend’s Competition
Kyle Larson won the Cup race.  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 20th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up 24th.  Not so fortunate was Corey LaJoie, who ended in the 34th position.  Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie of Norwalk, CT who earned two Xfinity Championships during his career.
Kyle Larson had another good day on Saturday as he won the Xfinity race.  Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 15th while Justin Bonsignore of LI, NY was 17th.
Chandler Smith won the Truck race.  Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA was tenth and Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT ended up14th .
Out on the west coast in Long Beach, CA, Kyle Kirkwood was the winner of the Indy Car race while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT came in tenth.

LONG BEACH, California – Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing team Winward Racing extended its points leads in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GT Daytona (GTD) driver and team championship standings with a fourth-place finish Saturday in the 100-minute sprint race at the 50th Grand Prix of Long Beach. Starting seventh in the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, co-drivers Russell Ward and Philip Ellis improved three positions on the 1.968-mile Long Beach street circuit in a clean and competitive run to the finish.

LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 12, 2025) – AO Racing continued its winning streak in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on Saturday, claiming victory in the 100-minute Grand Prix of Long Beach. The team behind the Porsche 911 GT3 “Rawr” executed a flawless pit strategy and kept the car clean, leaping ahead of the competition in pit lane to take the win.

“Rexy loves Long Beach,” said Team Principal Gunnar Jeannette. “I can’t say much more than that. It’s been a fantastic weekend.
