Barre, VT — One of the most important events of the Thunder Road season did not disappoint as drivers in all divisions went all out on WDEV/Calkins Portable Toilets Championship Night. With founder Ken Squier in the house to view the culmination of the 63rd season of racing at the track he helped build and maintained for well over 50 years, the drivers sure put on a show to remember. N. Woodstock, NH — Over 60 cars were on hand for Saturday’s practice session including two bad-fast winged representatives of the New England Supermodified Series (NESS). The five-hour practice session gave a sneak-peek for the upcoming season with returning veterans and new faces all around the pit area. Barre, VT — As part of last weekend’s 63rd Season Opener and Community Bank 150, Thunder Road and the American-Canadian Tour celebrated their 2021 champions, top runners and rookies as well as the various annual special awards presented by the ACT sanctioning body. Because of COVID-19 concerns, the annual dinner and awards ceremony was once again held outdoors on the Thunder Road property under the afternoon sun. (more…)
The Race of Champions Modified Series is making changes to the 2022 schedule.
The event at Lorain Raceway Park in Ohio has been removed in agreement with promoter, Randy Maggio, Jr., from the 2022 schedule, with both management parties giving consideration to reviewing the potential of a date on future schedules. (more…)
