No Changes For 602 Engine Race Teams In Sportsman Competition At Grandview Speedway, Race Date Added

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway management would like to answer some questions that may have arisen from the recent announcement regarding the 602 crate Sportsman mini-series.

Nothing is changing regarding the use of 602 engines in the regular Saturday night NASCAR Sportsman competition. Race teams are still able to use the 602 engines as they have been for the last several seasons, and are encouraged to do so, looking toward the future of the class. (more…)

American Racer Announcement Forces Grandview Changes Starting This Saturday

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway has several changes to announce because of a recent announcement from American Racer Tires.

With the announcement from the makers of the American Racer tires used by racers at Grandview Speedway today about production issues in making their tires, Speedway management has been forced to make several changes for the next several weeks of competition at the track. (more…)

Pro4 Modifieds of New England Announce 2022 Division Changes

Starting with the 2022 season the PRO4 Modified’s Of New England will end the two-division concept. Going forward the division will race as one division with rules to keep the competition tight and fun. The Club’s Competition Committee has made several rule changes/adjustments over the past two years to close the gap between the Lite and Unlimited Cars. (more…)

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Demetrios Drellos picked up right where he left off last year: On top at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The reigning Sportsman Modified champion opened the new season on Saturday, May 1, with a dominant win during a wildly unpredictable night presented by Mike’s Fuels of Bridport. A total of 118 racecars jammed the pit area and outer parking lot as a nice spectator crowd filtered in for the 2021 lid-lifter, and Drellos collected a whopping $3,200 for his victory in the race honoring the late Matt Bilodeau. The gates swung open Saturday evening for the 71st season of stock car racing at Riverhead Raceway and when the checker flag waved on the 50-lap Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified feature John Beatty Jr. of Merrick sat in the winner circle after surviving a late race restart with 11 laps remaining in the race to post his 9th career victory.
