18 Trans Am Legends from Past and Present Compose 2025 Inductees

CHARLOTTE (February 5, 2025) — On February 21, 2025, the inaugural class of the Trans Am Hall of Fame will be inducted during a celebratory dinner at Sebring International Raceway, where the series made its debut in 1966. 18 legendary drivers and team owners will be among the first inductees into the Trans Am Hall of Fame, which was announced in November to honor the longest-running professional road racing series in North America.

Posey, Barber, Guthrie, Dyson’s & Maggiacomo’s To Be Honored At Legends Day At New England Racing Museum

LOUDON, NH: The museum’s annual Legends Day event will take place on Sunday November 17^th at the New England Racing Museum (922 Rt. 106, Loudon, NH). Headlining will be seven road racers who had major success across the New England region. Sam Posey, Skip Barber, Janet Guthrie, Rob Dyson, Chris Dyson, Jocko Maggiacomo Sr and Jocko Maggiacomo Jr will be honored. The event will include an honoree panel discussion, permanent banner unveiling and a buffet lunch. A VIP ticket is available in which you can meet the attending honorees in a small group setting for a photo opportunity, join a private museum tour led by founder Dick Berggren and premier event seating. The event is supported by Lime Rock Park and Thompson Speedway and is a fundraiser for the nonprofit museum. (more…)

Sheehan Survives TA2 Barrel for Top Twenty Finish

Austin, TEXAS – November 9, 2022 – New Hampshire’s Tom Sheehan made the long trip down to Texas worthwhile with what he called a fun drive in the final round of the 2022 Trans Am presented by Pirelli Championship season. One of the most experienced and skilful drivers on the circuit, Tom survived a minor shunt to finish in the Top 20 despite damage to the car slowing his progress over the final laps.
