Trans Am Series Introduces TA Cup Class for 2025
The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli has announced a new racing class for the 2025 season. Named TA Cup, the class will utilize high-performance spec tube-frame vehicles with silhouette bodies, which will be eligible for competition in the Western Championship, as well as in the National Championship under the Pick 6 Challenge. Promising Talent Annunziata Aspires New Chapter with Burtin Racing in Top Trans Am Class
Alton, VIRGINIA – October 1, 2024 – The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli heads to Virginia International Raceway where Burtin Racing partners with Thomas Annunziata to debut his first TA1 class race with the Series in the No. 17 Criswell Chevrolet / Castrol Chevrolet Camaro. The SpeedTour event is slated for October 3 – 6 as the 2024 season is winding down to a close.
Annunziata steps into the Burtin Racing seat formerly piloted by Adam Andretti who successfully scored a race win at the team’s home track at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and a podium finish at Lime Rock Park. Although the program had multiple mechanical ailments throughout the season, Andretti delivered solid driving and promotion for the team despite the back luck.

LONG BEACH, California (April 19, 2024) — The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA) announced its 2025 Induction Class today at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. Aaron Plessinger Takes Career-First 450SX Class Victory in San Diego
San Diego, Calif., (January 21, 2024) Red Bull KTM’s Aaron Plessinger earned a hard-fought and emotional win at Round 3 the 17-round Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship inside a muddy Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.
