SEBRING, Florida (December 8, 2024) – A quartet of first-time Mission Foods HSR Sebring Classic 12 Hour, Pistons & Props, Presented by the Alan Jay Automotive Network, race winners emerged for the first time in six years Sunday at Sebring International Raceway. The four overall Run Group winners came out on top after nine hours of non-stop competition Saturday and three more Sunday afternoon for a symbolic 12 hours of racing paying tribute to the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring sports car race, which will be run for the 73rd time next March. Ron Silk Scores First-Ever Race Of Champions Victory At Spencer Speedway In Maynard Troyer Classic V This Past Friday

– Kevin Timmerman Drives to First-Ever Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series Win; Joey VanLane Scores Another Race of Champions Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series Victory –

Williamson, NY – (September 1, 2024) – Ron Silk of Norwalk, CT, drove to his first-ever Race of Champions Modified Series victory this past Friday night at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY, and it was in one of the most lucrative victories in the history of the Speedway, with over $54,000 in purse money for the Modified event. Silk took home $11,000 for his efforts in what is considered the best per lap for Modified racing in the region.

Silk started 5^th and slipped past Jake Lutz of Hamburg, NY, on a restart when Lutz missed a shift. From that point Lutz pressured Silk all the way to the checkered flag, however, it was to no avail as Silk narrowly earned the victory.

Scott Dragon Takes First NEFCU+VSECU Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road Hometrack

Barre, VT — Beautiful skies and full crowds greeted the traveling band of American-Canadian Tour faithful for their second visit of the year to Thunder Road International Speedbowl. The NEFCU+VSECU Labor Day Classic saw thirty-one cars enter the pit gate and qualify for starting position in the annual 200-lap holiday weekend event. ACT Rookie of the Year hopeful and current Thunder Road track championship point leader Kaiden Fisher earned the pole alongside former top rookie Erick Sands with both drivers taking a ‘+4’ in the Plus/Minus handicap system.

Fisher would immediately fall back to the rear with a caution prior to the first completed lap with fellow rookie Cole Littlewood. Another quick spin caution re-racked the field once more out of the gate before the field settled in on the lap five restart. Marcel Gravel and Erick Sands battled hard on the return to green but it was the Thunder Road ace Gravel that put the power down on the outside groove. Soon after, two-time track champion Scott Dragon also rounded the ACT regular and set his sights on Gravel. (more…)
