The final day of the Trans Am Memorial Day Classic was a testament to the unpredictable nature of racing and the resilience of its fans and participants. Heavy rain greeted the day and later bid it farewell, but in between, the sun broke through just in time for the 100-mile Trans Am TA/XGT/SGT/GT race, providing perfect conditions for a dramatic and thrilling event. Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. (more…)
