Two JR Motorsports drivers—prolific rookie Connor Zilisch and defending NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier—already have qualified for the Championship 4 Race on points.
Two other JRM drivers are locked in a close battle for the final Championship 4 berth as the series moves to Martinsville Speedway for Saturday’s IAA & Ritchie Bros. 250 (7:30 p.m. ET on CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

Brighton, Ontario (September 22, 2025) – The Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series will make its highly anticipated debut at Brighton Speedway during the prestigious AppleFest Shootout weekend, presented by Coca-Cola, Hoosier Tire, and ImageFactor, on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27, 2025.
It’s not often that a driver leaves a race track proud of an 18th-place finish, but that was clearly the case with Austin Dillon after last Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
In fact, finishing 18th was a triumph for the driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, and it left him within striking distance of the Round of 12 entering Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A massive weekend of racing came to a thrilling close on Saturday night, April 19 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, as the Spring Nationals wrapped up with a jam-packed schedule featuring Pro Late Models, Street Stocks, and a final round of CP Race Wear Bandolero and U.S. Air Force Legend Car features. A grand total of 162 race cars filled the infield and back pit areas, making it one of the most attended opening events in recent Fairgrounds history.
Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip has hosted NASCAR events, drag races and more for a quarter-center in the San Gabriel Valley.
The checkered flag is in sight for Irwindale Speedway after 25 years of NASCAR races, demolition derbies, drag racing, and other events at the San Gabriel Valley motorsports landmark.
The speedway and dragstrip about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles will close at the end of the 2024 season with a farewell event scheduled for Dec. 21, according to a statement posted Tuesday. (more…)
Hendrick Motorsports vice chairman Jeff Gordon says that the organization didn’t see anything they were comfortable enough to build an appeal around for Alex Bowman and the No. 48 team.
Bowman was disqualified from Sunday’s race at the Charlotte Roval because his Chevrolet was too light in post-race inspection. There have been no details from NASCAR or Hendrick Motorsports regarding how far out of tolerance the car was, or what caused it to be too light. After crossing the finish line 18th, Bowman was moved to last place in the finishing order and credited with one point for the event.

WALPOLE, N.H. – The Granite State Pro Stock Series’ thirteenth season draws to a close this Sunday as part of one of New Hampshire’s historic season-ending showdowns. But as drivers chase the last checkered flag of 2024 in the Bosowski Properties 125, two series regulars will be engaged in their own battle to become the GSPSS’ latest champion.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (September 30, 2024) – Two weeks after racing at the Brickyard with their Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America program, Flying Lizard Motorsport is back at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend to close out the year with their multiple SRO America championship efforts. Though not in the championship hunt, the team has four entries competing to finish the season with wins in GT World Challenge America, GT4 America, and GT America.
“2024 has been a great season for many reasons,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “Although we aren’t in a fight for the championship this year, we have had multiple podiums throughout the season in each of the different classes we are entered in and we see so much potential for 2025.
