Just two points separate leader Brett Kressley from challenger Craig Von Dohren in the chase for the lucrative NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series T.P.Trailers Modified point title at Grandview Speedway. With the help of two wins Kressley has 1411 points while defending champion, 11 times in fact, Craig Von Dohren has 1409 counters and has done it without benefit of a win but has had consistent performances. N. Woodstock, NH — Barton, VT’s Shane Sicard showed why he’s a three-time defending White Mountain Motorsports Park champion with a dominating victory in the J.P. Sicard Triple Crown Series on Saturday, May 8. Sicard took the lead from Marshfield, VT’s Matthew Potter on lap 6 of the 75-lap Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger feature and cruised to the win as part of the 29th White Mountain Season Opener. BECHTELSVILLE, PA. May 9, 2021. Ma Nature smiled on Grandview Speedway Saturday night and allowed a Mom’s Night NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tripleheader to be completed with Duane Howard battling with Jesse Leiby in the T.P. Trailers 358 NASCAR 30-lap Modified feature beginning on the 15th lap. The veteran campaigner tried to dive underneath the rookie and later attempted the outside trek, but each attempt failed. Finally on the 22nd lap, the six-time point champion got past Leiby and went on to take the win. (more…)

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Demetrios Drellos picked up right where he left off last year: On top at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The reigning Sportsman Modified champion opened the new season on Saturday, May 1, with a dominant win during a wildly unpredictable night presented by Mike’s Fuels of Bridport. A total of 118 racecars jammed the pit area and outer parking lot as a nice spectator crowd filtered in for the 2021 lid-lifter, and Drellos collected a whopping $3,200 for his victory in the race honoring the late Matt Bilodeau. The gates swung open Saturday evening for the 71st season of stock car racing at Riverhead Raceway and when the checker flag waved on the 50-lap Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified feature John Beatty Jr. of Merrick sat in the winner circle after surviving a late race restart with 11 laps remaining in the race to post his 9th career victory.
