Results From Northeastern NASCAR Competitors At Daytona Last Weekend

Tyler Redick won the Cup race. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in third while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up 25th.

Austin Hill won the O’ReIlly Auto Parts event. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 11th with Patrick Emerling of LI, NY finishing 13th. Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA ended his day in 37th.

In the Craftsman Truck Series, Chandler Small won that one. Gio Ruggiero finished second while Stewart Friesen of NJ ended up tenth. Not so lucky was Corey LaJoie. Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT and was the winner of two NASCAR Championship in the Xfinity Series.

Also on the menu was an ARCA race with Gio Ruggiero also taking that one while Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY cracked the top ten.

How Did Northeastern Competitors Do In The Bowman Gray Clash?

Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up taking the Checkered Flag in the Clash at Bowman Gray while Middletown, Ct’s Joey Logano took the 11^th place. Both drivers hung on to finish putting up with clear weather which turned into the worst storm that can be described as a finish in what’s called a Nor’easter, if you live anywhere chose to the City of Boston, MA.

Grandview Speedway Announces To All Competitors That There Are No Rule Changes Heading Into The 2026 Season, Season Passes Are Now Available

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway…. remaining the same for the 2026 season.

The Rogers Family, who promote and operate Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., have completed their yearly review of race car specifications and race night rules/procedures and have announced to all competitors that there will be NO CHANGES heading into the 2026 racing season.

How Did Northeastern Competitors Do At The Charlotte Roval?

Shane Gisbergen won the Charlotte Roval NASCAR Cup race. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up sixth. Joe Logano of Middletown, CT managed to take 20th.

Connor Zilisch won the NASCAR Xfinity race. Kaz Grala of Boston came in fourth, and Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ended up 25th.

Corey Heim won the Craftsman Truck race. Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA came in third, and Parker Kligerman of Weston, CT ended his day in 35th.

Respect Amongst Craftsman Truck Series Competitors

There have been seasons when the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series did not always feature a “gentlemen’s agreement” of sorts when it came to close-quarter driving or important Playoff cutoff races. Interestingly, the drivers this season, say competition has been notably more respectful than in some previous years.

ARCA Menards Series Competitors Seek To Conquer The Monster Mile

The first of four combination events the ARCA Menards Series East shares with the national division to close out 2025 begins this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway, a facility that has more than earned its moniker as ‘The Monster Mile’.

Despite being a mile in length, what separates Dover from other similar facilities is its corners banked at 24 degrees. Precision and care are imperative to navigate the self-cleaning banking, as one wrong move could end not only one driver’s day, but several others attempting to avoid the chaos. (more…)

Xfinity Series Competitors Prepare for The Track Too Tough To Tame

Speedway thriller, the NASCAR Xfinity Series should be in good shape with Saturday’s Sports Clips Haircuts VFW Help A Hero 200 (3 p.m. ET on The CW Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) at Darlington Raceway.

The venerable 1.366-mile track has a fantastic history of high-drama and important races.

NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Competitors Face Round of 12 Elimination Race at the Charlotte ROVAL

The intense NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 comes down to this weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course for the Bank of America ROVAL 400 elimination-race at 2 p.m. ET this Sunday, October 13 on NBC, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90). The 12-driver Playoff field will be cut to eight as four driver’s title hopes will come to an end this weekend.

Ever since the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course has joined the NASCAR Cup Series postseason in 2018, it has proven to be a wildcard event with twists and turns that challenge the competitors along its multi-elevational 2.28-miles.

Mercedes-AMG Competitors Combine for Two Race Wins and Four More Podiums While Mercedes-AMG Secures Third-Consecutive GT America Manufacturer Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Mercedes-AMG clinched a third-straight GT America powered by AWS Manufacturer Championship to highlight a successful season-ending weekend of SRO America competition at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) that included GT4 and GT2 race wins and a three-day haul of six total podium finishes. The half dozen visits to IMS victory lane included a pair of podium showings by Mercedes-AMG Performance Teams GruppeM Racing and Lone Star Racing. Maro Engel, Jules Gounon and Mikael Grenier drove the No. 130 Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 to a second-place Pro-class finish while the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG Team Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Luca Stolz, Fabian Schiller and Alex Palou rallied to third-place Pro honors in Saturday’s Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) Indianapolis 8 Hour.
