Johnny Clark Stays On Top For Late Race PASS 150 Win Over D.J. Shaw At White Mountain

PASS Late Models At White Mountain — It took over 100 laps of clawing their way to the top but the fans were treated to a battle of the ages between D.J. Shaw and Johnny Clark over the final 25 circuits until Johnny Clark eventually came out on top to claim the $7,000 winner’s share of the PASS Super Late Model 150. (Johnny Racer photo)

Woodstock, NH — With two features on the finale weekend at White Mountain, the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers started off feature racing on Saturday with Kyle Willis and Todd Derrington duking it out side-by-side. Rookie Derrington took off with the early lead before the lap 9 caution for a stalled Mike Clark. Matt Potter would find himself in the top spot following the restart with top point chaser Luke Peters and Shane Sicard in tow on the inside line. Potter would lose the lead with a spin cycle in turn four to set up a fight between championship hopefuls Sicard and Peters over the final eight laps. It was Shane Sicard who went back-to-back for the win over Peters and Owen Cheney at the line.

Seekonk Speedway To Crown Champions On D. Anthony Venditti Championship Weekend

Seekonk Speedway returns to Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday racing action for the final time in 2025 this weekend. Track champions will be crowned in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup on both nights, all part of D. Anthony Venditti Championship weekend at the Action Track of the East.

Fast Friday begins at 7 p.m., while NASCAR Saturday begins at 6 p.m. Tickets for championship weekend are on sale now at SeekonkSpeedway.com.

Lowinksi-Loh and Williams Split Fall Showdown Twin 50s at Thompson

Thompson, CT — Jake Johnson nabbed the pole position with a ‘+5’ handicap earned in heat two with former track champion Brian Tagg lined up alongside for the 50 lap Late Model Fall Showdown. After a pair of quick spin cautions to start the show, Johnson led the single-file line in the early going as Tagg soon fell under pressure from Matt Lowinksi-Loh, Jake Burns and Tyler Chapman. A lap 23 caution for Adam Pettey’s backstretch spin set up Lowinski-Loh’s lead on the restart with a missed shift for Johnson. Later, contact between the two allowed Monahan and Burns a chance at the front with ‘Rowdy’ Burns leading the fray. Burns would later miss a shift on the final restart with four laps remaining to but battled back for a photo finish with Matt Lowinski-Loh at the line. Lowinski-Loh took the $3,000 win by 0.054-seconds over Burns with Brian Tagg taking third.

Brown Dominates White Mountain Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200 While Gluchacki Finally Earns the Brookside Equipment Triple Crown

Woodstock, NH — Thirty-seven Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams made the trek to New Hampshire’s scenic White Mountain Motorsports Park to contest both the 47th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200 and crown the 2025 Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown champion. With the hills surrounding the popular quarter mile alight with bright yellows, deep reds and the occasional orange tint, the time was right for the annual autumn special.

The annual Cecil Palm Tree 66 NASCAR Modified event is presented to honor memory of the late Eddie Partridge, a lover of the open wheel machines and the excitement they provided wherever they raced, especially Riverhead Raceway which he, his wife Connie and nephew Tom Gatz purchased in 2015. Saturday when the green flag waves over the field to begin the Cecil Palm Tree 66, the usual open wheel excitement will be ramped up with the 2025 NASCAR Modified and Crown Jewel Series Ted Christopher Cup championships hanging in the balance, just the way Eddie Partridge the Modified fan would have loved.

The DuQuoin State Fairgrounds hosts a huge weekend of racing begins Saturday afternoon, August 30 with USAC Silver Crown and Modifieds and Sunday evening, August 31 with the ARCA Southern Illinois 100 and the Modified Bill Oldani Memorial.

The car counts are strong for the Saturday and Sunday afternoon races at the DuQuoin State Fair with 30 entries on the USAC Silver Crown list and 20 on this year’s ARCA list for Sunday.
