More than just a “cars and coffee” event, Cars and Coffee Darien blends the casual atmosphere of a Sunday morning cars and coffee with a car show – except that there is no cutoff year, and there are no rules about what you can bring: cars, trucks, Jeeps, and motorcycles of any year are all welcome.
Cars and Coffee Darien is the only event of its type anywhere in the world with a direct connection to the Cannonball races of the 1970s. Known for being a family-friendly event, it is quite common to see multi-generational families, and young parents with strollers walking about. We’re also pet-friendly, and we encourage you to bring your [leashed] 4-legged children.
If you were one of the people who ignored the early morning drizzle and the clouds to come out to this past Sunday’s 2025 Season Opener, THANK YOU! We really appreciate your effort and we hope you’ll continue to support our event through the rest of the season.

The new season is right around the corner for short-track veteran Woody Pitkat. Officially announced Tuesday, Pitkat will return to compete full-time with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in 2025. The series has jumped to a 10-race schedule for the new year, spread across seven different tracks from March to October.
Pitkat will drive for Jett Motorsports on the Tri-Track Series – a team owned by Jariah Roderick and Steve Rollins. The team will run eight of the 10 events with the No. 88, sponsored by Infinity Homes, Gunsmoke Stables and USNE Power.
Teddy Hodgdon Racing announced today their schedule for the 2025 season in the No. 55 Tour-Type Modified – one that will bring the team up and down the East Coast. For the first time in his career, driver Teddy Hodgdon will make five NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) starts. His debut will take place at the Icebreaker, March 30, at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. (more…)
Ryan Preece Racing announced today that Luke Baldwin will compete in the full Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series schedule during the 2025 season. Baldwin will drive the No. 40 for Preece in eight of the 10 events and will pilot the No. 7NY for Tommy Baldwin Racing in the other two races, allowing him to compete for the championship.
In 2024 the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series ran an eight event schedule, which was the largest slate of events ever in the 11-year history of the division.
And the growth trend will continue for year No. 12 for the series. (more…)
