Christopher Bell, Joey Logano and Ross Chastain gear up for an action-packed NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs weekend at New Hampshire’s “The Magic Mile” during a Goodyear Tire Test Tuesday.

LOUDON, N.H. – With only five races remaining in NASCAR’s 2025 regular season, drivers and fans will soon turn their attention to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Playoffs race on Sept. 21. Christopher Bell, Joey Logano and Ross Chastain visited “The Magic Mile” on Tuesday for a Goodyear Tire Test.

How Did Northeastern Drivers Perform At Dover And Toronto?

Denny Hamlin won the NASCAR Cup race at Dover. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in 14th. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 19th.

A day earlier, Connor Zilisch won the Xfinity race at Dover. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 23rd while Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his day in 31st.

In Indycar at Toronto, Pato O’Ward won the Indy Car race. Things didn’t go well for Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT who had big problems and ended up 27^th due to a DNS!

Ryan Preece Wins Cleetus McFarland New England 900 at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the Cleetus McFarland New England 900 on Friday, July 18 with a 90-lap feature event featuring nitrous infused Crown Victorias and a Van Prix feature event with minivans. NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Preece was the big winner of the night after outdueling former NASCAR Cup Series driver Greg Biffle over the final 13 laps after a late race restart.

Ryan Preece Delivers Popular Victory to Home Track Crowd in New England 900

STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT (July 18, 2025) – Ryan Preece put on a show for his hometown crowd as he returned to Stafford Motor Speedway victorious in Friday’s New England 900. Preece raced his way from the 15th starting position to claim a thrilling victory in the exhibition event organized by Cleetus McFarland and the Freedom Factory.

“That was the most fun I’ve had in a race car in a very long time,” said Preece.
