(Jan. 9, 2018) – As Daytona International Speedway gets ready to kick off the 2021 Speedweeks Presented By AdventHealth, which will culminate with next Sunday’s 63rd DAYTONA 500, its medical and track services teams were honored last week during the annual NASCAR Safety and Operations Summit powered by Verizon.
Martin Truex Jr. owns three top-five finishes and five top-10s in 31 career NASCAR Cup Series starts at Daytona International Speedway. In the series’ most recent race on the 2.5-mile superspeedway, Truex led 14 laps and ended up fourth. Truex is also a former DAYTONA 500 pole winner after recording the fastest lap in qualifying back in 2009. (more…)

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2021) – WWE Superstar Sasha Banks will serve as the Honorary Starter for the 63rd DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, February 14. She will waive the green flag on the Great American Race, which is set for a 2:30 p.m. ET (FOX, FOX Deportes, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) start at the 2.5-mile World Center of Racing.
