Kaulig Racing Named Anchor Team for Ram’s Return to NASCAR

Kaulig Racing Ram Trucks 2026Daytona Beach, FL (August 23, 2025) – Ram officially confirmed Friday that Kaulig Racing will become the anchor factory team for the truck maker’s highly anticipated return to NASCAR, starting with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026.

Kaulig Racing, founded a decade ago by Ohio-based entrepreneur, community leader and philanthropist Matt Kaulig, is poised to field up to five Ram 1500 trucks in NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series starting with the February 13, 2026, season kick-off race at Daytona International Speedway. The race will mark the first time a factory supported team will carry the Ram badge in a NASCAR race since 2012.

NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400, DaytonaDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – And so – again – it will come down to a perpetually thrilling night-time 400-miler at the Daytona International Speedway to finalize the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff field.

Fourteen of the 16 positions are already firmed up by winning drivers this season. The final two championship contenders will be decided in Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 regular season finale on the Daytona high-banks (7:30 p.m. ET on NBC, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 marks the 157th running of a NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona, and the most among all tracks in Cup Series history. Richard Childress Racing has made an impressive 202 starts at track and counts four Coke Zero Sugar 400 victories among the organization’s impressive seven points-paying wins at the track. Austin Dillon was RCR’s most recent Coke Zero Sugar 400 race winner, earning the win in 2022 to clinch a spot in the NASCAR Playoffs. Other Coke Zero Sugar 400 race winners include Kevin Harvick (2010) and Dale Earnhardt (1990, 1993). RCR owns three Daytona 500 wins (Earnhardt – 1998, Harvick – 2007, Dillon – 2018). In addition, RCR has collected11 poles in Cup Series competition at Daytona.
