Barre, VT — It felt like Milk Bowl weather on Quarry Hill Thursday night as four divisions of racing took off on Vermont Tire & Service Night at Barre’s Thunder Road. 100 cars took battle on a rare cool August evening as the 2022 season begins its dreaded downhill slope. The fireworks started off early with the rain-postponed Casella Waste Management 50-lapper for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models. From the pole position hard-luck driver Scott Coburn led the early war but was overtaken by Memorial Day Classic winner Stephen Donahue on lap 15. Donahue continued to dominate through a lap-22 scramble in turn four between the 94VT of Brendan Moodie and the 0VT of Scott Dragon that took out contenders Brooks Clark and Bobby Therrien. (more…)

After an offseason full of hard work and anticipation, Sam Rameau and the Rameau Family Motorsports team are ready to head back to work at the track this weekend. The Massachusetts based operation will roll just up the road at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, New Hampshire, as Rameau will compete in two events over two days at Monadnock’s season-opening Spring Dash weekend.
