When one grows up an aspiring race car driver on Long Island the ultimate goal is to win a NASCAR Modified event at Riverhead Raceway. Saturday night Chris Rogers of Patchogue attained that goal when he won the 50-lap Advanced Auto Parts Night event becoming the fifth Modified winner in five races to date in 2023. Frankie Muniz is ready to start his engine and pursue his dream of a professional stock-car racing championship and will get to do that officially starting in February at Daytona International Speedway.

Muniz, the former child actor who starred in “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Big Fat Liar” and “Agent Cody Banks,” announced in January he would be racing in the ARCA Menards Series full-time starting this year, beginning with the Daytona race on Feb. 18. SEEKONK, Mass. – Matt “Big Money” Hirschman lived up to his name once again on Wednesday night, June 29, capturing the top $10,000 prize and winning his fifth Open Wheel Wednesday title at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts. Competing in the third round of the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series season, Hirschman passed Woody Pitkat for the lead on lap 31 and never looked back, rolling to his second Tri-Track win of the season in three series events.
