Over the course of six races, Brad Sweet watched an almost 100-point lead shrink to 16 as David Gravel of Watertown, CT went on a late-season run and now chases Sweet into the World of Outlaws Sprint Car World Finals on November 2, 4-5. POMONA, Calif. – Bob Tasca III of Hope, RI and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Funny Car Team won the Auto Club NHRA Finals this evening (Nov. 14). As a result, Tasca vaulted into third place in the final 2021 NHRA Nitro Funny Car standings, setting a personal best. Today’s win was also Tasca’s third race victory of the season, yet another career high. (more…)
