It didn’t look like Joey Logano was going to win the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas but he got all the luck there was and brought home the checkers.
The start of the race saw the Toyotas of Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell go to the back for unapproved changes to the nose of the car that were found in inspection. Qualifying was washed out by rain so the field was set by owner’s points. (more…)

Toyota placed only three cars in the Top 10 at Pocono but the won the race again and that is all that matters. Kyle Busch didn’t win either of the first two stages, that honor went to Kyle Larson, but he won the race – again. And last time I checked, they handed out the trophy at the end of the race, not at the end of the stages. (more…)
I watched both the Xfinity and Cup races this weekend. It looked like Kyle Busch was going to get his 200th win on Saturday in the Xfinity race, but Cole Custer took advantage of a Busch slip up and took the checkered flag. (more…)

LAS VEGAS – Joey Logano wins the first west coast race in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
“I said we’re going to do donuts on that giant infield logo after the race, and we were able to do it,” Logano shared after winning for the first time in his career at Las Vegas.

The second annual Pennzoil 400 will serve as the main event for a triple-header race weekend, jam-packed with fan driven activities
Houston, TX – February 27, 2019. Pennzoil is taking over Las Vegas this March to host the second annual Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube, part of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS), at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
