Barre, VT & Naples, ME (October 8, 2025) — Officials at Thompson Speedway announced today a revised schedule for the 63rd annual Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing. Due to an unfavorable weather forecast predicted for Sunday, officials have moved the Sunday Whelen Modified Tour portion of the original schedule into one massive Super Saturday of racing.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 25, 2025) – NASCAR and White Mountain Motorsports Park have postponed this Saturday’s scheduled NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event one day to Sunday as a forecast for inclement weather impacts the area.
The race will now begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 29.
The weather delays the Whelen Modified Tour’s return to White Mountain Motorsports Park following a five-year absence by a day. The Tour ran a pair of races at the track in 2020, won by Justin Bonsignore and Doug Coby.

Gloomy Forecast Forces Riverhead Raceway To Move Saturday Program To Sunday Implementing New Rain Date Policy
Entering the final weekend of what is one of the wettest months of May on record, Riverhead Raceway had been able to skirt the wet stuff, until now. Friday morning track management announced with a highly unfavorable forecast projected; they were moving the Saturday evening NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program to Sunday afternoon June 1st. The Local Sports League Team Night that was schedules for Sunday will also move to Sunday afternoon as well.
Favorable Forecast Washes Away; Community Bank 150 Moved to June 1 at Thunder Road
Barre, VT – Thunder Road Speedbowl and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials announced this morning that the 27th annual Community Bank 150, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 4, has been postponed due to the forecast. The Community Bank 150 has been moved to Sunday, June 1 with all four originally-scheduled divisions. All Pit Passes purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored on June 1, teams must keep and present them at the gate as their rain-check.
Rain-Drenched Forecast, Cold Temps Delays Pine Tree State 125 for Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour

Oxford, ME — After yet another week of watching several different weather forecasts over western Maine, Oxford Plains Speedway and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials have made the difficult decision to postpone Sunday’s planned events with continued rain showers on the horizon. The Pine Tree State 125 will now be held on Saturday, October 18 during the PASS 400 weekend.
The change makes for an exciting, late season doubleheader with the originally planned ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series as they wrap up their triple crown with the annual 75-lap affair at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Nashville, TN – Due to an unfavorable weekend weather forecast, the season opener scheduled for April 4-5 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway has been canceled. The decision comes after careful consideration of weather conditions predicted for the weekend, which would likely keep the event from happening.
In light of this cancellation, the season-opening weekend will now coincide with the US Legends Spring Nationals, which will take place Thursday-Saturday, April 17-19, 2025. (more…)
