Tire Pros Renews Partnership for Fourth Year with JR Motorsports

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 12, 2024) – JR Motorsports announced today that North Carolina-based Tire Pros will enter its fourth year of partnership with the team, joining Sam Mayer and the No. 1 entry for primaries at Phoenix Raceway (March 9) and Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 25) with associate placement for the remaining 31 races in 2024. Thompson, CT ­— Although rains dampened much of Friday’s planned mid-day practice sessions, the 61 Sunoco World Series was able to start off with a bang as the Milton CAT Modified Racing Series and Mighty Mini Stock Tour were both able to crown their touring champions and the Thompson Late Models saw a return champion in victory lane. After a two year pause Riverhead Raceway was able to celebrate their 2022 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series champions in style once again Friday evening at Giorgio’s Baiting Hollow with 350 revelers filling the banquet room. Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz hosted the gala event with track GM John Ellwood while Stephen Halpin served as master of ceremonies.

HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – With a fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship in reach, Justin Bonsignore heads to Martinsville Speedway this Thursday, October 27 for the season-finale. The three-time series champion enters the race 11-points behind Jon McKennedy, with Ron Silk in the middle of the two of them, six points back. Eric Goodale is fourth, 13 points from the lead – meaning all four of the contenders have a chance to win the driver’s title in the final race of the season.
