When the checkered flag fell, “The Edge” Eddie Strada of Lake Ariel, Pa. emerged from the intense action with the biggest win of his stock car racing career, taking home over $34,800 for the win in Grandview Speedway’s 55^th annual Freedom 76 T.P. Trailer Modified Classic.

Addison Meitzler Wins Grandview Speedway Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship In Photo Finish At The Line

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It was a down to the wire photo finish to open the Freedom weekend of racing Friday night at Grandview Speedway.

Addison Meitzler of Kempton, Pa. just edged out Jesse Hirthler of Boyertown, Pa. at the finish line by about a wheel’s length, following a thrilling back and forth lead swapping battle to score the win in the 12^th annual T.P. Truck Equipment Freedom 38 Sportsman championship on Friday night.

Grandview Speedway Freedom 76 Weekend Is This Friday & Saturday September 19 & 20, Honor-Prestige-Money On The Line In Championship Weekend Races

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 63^rd anniversary season of auto racing action at Grandview Speedway moves into the 55^th annual Freedom 76 race weekend, the biggest, most prestigious, and most lucrative racing event of the year for competitors.

The Freedom 76 weekend begins on Friday, September 19 with the 12^th annual T.P. Truck Equipment Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship. The race program will follow the Freedom 76 race format with qualifying heats, consolations, Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 to win cash dash, the Patriot 20, all leading up to the 38-lap Championship feature event that will pay a possible $3063 to win, plus practice time for 358 Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.

Grandview Speedway Saturday Races Fall To Stormy Weather – Championship Night Next Up On September 13 – Freedom 76 Weekend On September 19 & 20

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following eleven straight weeks of racing action, stormy weather won out on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, causing the cancellation of the planned racing program.

With scattered thunderstorms developing throughout the area during the afternoon hours, and stronger storms predicted for arrival at race time in the evening, management made the difficult decision to cancel the evening’s program, giving consideration to the longer distance traveling teams, especially in the visiting division.
