Saudi Arabia to Host FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) from 2025
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (June 1st, 2024): The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Sport today announced that the Kingdom will stage Rally Saudi Arabia, as a round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) from 2025 onwards*. The event will be organized by the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC) and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and in collaboration with the World Rally Championship. Kyle Larson won the race while Corey Lajoie came in 26th with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 28th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended his day in 34th. Corey LaJoie is the son of Two-Time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT before moving to the Charlotte, NC area in order to be at NASCAR’s Center.

Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney is once again the NASCAR Cup Series point standings leader, after becoming the only driver this season to post three top-five finishes in the first four races of the season.
