Gabe Brown Back on Top in Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour with New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 Win

Lee, NH — Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour heat winners Kaiden Fisher and Gabe Brown earned the front row of the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 by each earning a +5 in qualifying action. After suffering with ignition issues all of Friday practice, Fisher made his presence known by leading the early circuits before Jimmy Renfrew Jr. got around him on the lap 7 restart. Renfrew kept pace ahead of the pack while the 32-car field spread out, easing the pressure on their Hoosier Racing Tires against the rough, aged surface of Lee USA Speedway.

Gabe Brown Takes Down Win #4, Tightens Milton CAT Championship Chase at Oxford

Oxford, ME — Fifty-two Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour-sanctioned racers packed the pit area Saturday morning as part of the action-packed Spencer Group Paving PASS 400 Weekend. Originally set for an early-season April showdown, the Pine Tree State 125 presented by Wellman Paving was rain delayed by 175 days for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour’s third visit to Oxford Plains Speedway this season with thirty cars making the trip. Saturday’s showcase was also a shining moment for the ACT Flying Tigers, rounding out this year’s three-race Tri-State Series with the Vacationland 75.

Center Conway’s Gabe Brown Goes Back-to-Back in Wall’s Ford Platinum Series; Johnny Clark Still the PASS King of White Mountain

N. Woodstock, NH — Mark Lundblad Jr. and Spencer Vaughan brought the PASS Modified field to green for their 50-lapper to kick off Saturday’s feature racing at White Mountain. Vaughan quickly led the single-file line as everyone settled in for the ride ahead before the lap 21 caution for Zach Bowie’s spin in turn two. Spencer Morse entered the top three picture and catapulted to a side-by-side battle with Vaughan and Kyle Hewins for the remainder of the caution-filled event. In the end, Morse would earn the win over Cody Macomber and Hewins.

Barre, VT — Starting off the 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl weekend in style, Booth Bros./Hood Qualifying Day set the tone for the annual end-of-season extravaganza at Barre’s Thunder Road. Forty-seven American-Canadian Tour / Maplefields-Irving Late Models took on the highbanks in the once-a-year single car time trials with Kaiden Fisher and Derek Gluchacki taking fast time before technical inspection stripped them of their efforts with tread width deemed too wide by officials. Redemption for Gabe Brown in Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200 Win at WMMP

Woodstock, NH — Twenty-nine American-Canadian Tour teams entered the pit area of White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday morning with twenty-eight able to take the green for the 46th running of the Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. It was a Southern New Hampshire pair who led the field to green with former White Mountain Late Model Rookie of the Year Bryan Wall Jr. securing the pole position with a +3 earned in heat three alongside former ACT top freshman Erick Sands.

The two battled in the opening rounds of the 200-lap main event with Sands taking the upper hand to lead the way through lap 26 before Gabe Brown took over the point. Brown, coming off last Saturday’s successful Wall’s Ford Platinum Series triple crown title fight, utilized his knowledge of the track to stranglehold the lead through several quick-spin caution periods in the early goings. N. Woodstock, NH — A picture perfect evening in North Woodstock, New Hampshire on Saturday night for the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series championship showdown. The evening started off with two Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division feature events. Split with a larger car count entering the pit area on Saturday, feature one saw young Madison Potter hold onto the lead, even after a hair-raising restart following Colton Williams’ smash-up with the turn two wall.

Potter took down her first career Kid’s Division victory with an all-female podium featuring a hard-charging Chloe Doyle taking second and Makenzi Sicard coming home third. Feature two saw Connor Charbonneau pace the early going as Hayden Bushey and Colby Stygles powered their way to the front from their back-row starting spots. The battle came down to the final lap with Hayden Bushey claiming the win over Stygles and Charbonneau hanging on for third. (more…)

Fans followed suit as well with another large crowd on hand to take in some Thunder in the Mountain to start their holiday weekend. Woodstock, NH — After battling yet another rainy forecast, the skies opened up for a Chamber of Commerce day in the Pemigewasset Valley as White Mountain Motorsports Park played host to Round #2 of the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series. The Foley Oil & Propane 100 gave way to some of the hardest racing of the season so far, not just in the Late Models but in all divisions as the four-division showdown went lightning fast for the fans at hand on a cool June night in New Hampshire’s Northcountry.
