Crews Begin Installation of New Musco Lighting System, SAFER Barrier, and Catch Fences as Facility Prepares for Historic 2025 NASCAR Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Nov. 14, 2024) – Work is well underway to get Bowman Gray Stadium ready for its next generation of racing, which begins next year with The Clash on Feb. 1-2, 2025. NASCAR, City of Winston-Salem, and Winston-Salem State University announced several initiatives today that are preparing the facility for a future that includes the return of NASCAR Cup Series racing to its historic quarter-mile oval for the first time since 1971.

Red Bull Driver Search Is Back and Ready to Find the Next Generation of Formula 1 Stars

Third Generation Driver Austin Goff Set to Duel For SK Light Rookie Honors at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the green flag falls on the 2024 SK Light season at Stafford Speedway, third generation driver Austin Goff will kick off his first full year of competition. Goff is the son of Aaron Goff and the grandson of Jay Goff, who have both previously piloted the same green and black #07 A+ Fire Protection car that Austin will be behind the wheel of this season. The entire family is excited for Austin to get his rookie campaign started.

Fourth Generation Driver Reed Reno Nabs First Career Win at Wiscasset Speedway

The night featured the Brackett’s Market 4-Cylinder Pros, Norm’s Used Cars Pro Stocks, Sweatt’s Concrete Thunder 4 Minis and double features for the Gosline Insurance Super Streets.

Justin Prescott, stepson of 1999 King of the Road Brian Hoar, and Kaiden Fisher, son of 2003 King of the Road Jamie Fisher, and have both made it their goal to be the top rookie in the ultra-competitive Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model class in 2023.
