Saturday was the perfect day for racing with temperatures hovering just above 60 degrees, a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky. It was the opposite of the weather the week prior, where rain had plagued Wiscasset Speedway during their 2024 season opener. Barre, VT & Naples, ME — Officials with the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that Massachusetts law firm Eden Rafferty has signed on as a year-long contingency partner with the Street Stock division at Thompson Speedway in 2024. $2,000 will be awarded throughout the ten-race Street Stock season to the winner, runner-up and the ‘Lucky 7’ seventh-place finisher in each track championship event this season. Many local race tracks are beginning to crown their 2023 track champions, but Wiscasset Speedway still has a handful of weeks left on their calendar. With that being said, the track extended an invitation for all local drivers to come try their hand at Maine’s biggest and fastest oval this past weekend.
