Hailie Deegan Moving to Indy NXT for 2025 Racing Season
After making her way through the ranks of dirt racing and stock car racing, Hailie Deegan will shift her focus to open-wheel racing in 2025, competing in INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports.
Deegan will drive the No. 38 entry for the full 14-race calendar of INDY NXT, the INDYCAR development series. Deegan, 23, becomes the fifth confirmed driver for HMD Motorsports, joining teammates Caio Collet, Josh Pierson, Tommy Smith and Bryce Aron and will join her teammates at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on Friday, Oct. 18 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Hailie Deegan Joins Nitrocross field for Utah
Hailie Deegan will race in next weekend’s Nitrocross event at Utah Motorsports Campus, returning to the series for the first time since 2021.
Deegan will compete in the Side-by-Side class in a field that also includes Lucy, Mika, and Kira Block – the wife, son, and daughter of Ken Block – and Travis Pastrana, invoking memories of the early days of U.S. rallycross where Block Sr., Pastrana, and Hailie’s father Brian all competed. (more…)

Hailie Deegan To Compete in SRX Season Finale at Nashville
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 8, 2021) – Hailie Deegan will compete in the Camping World SRX Series season finale July 17 at the Nashville (Tenn.) Fairgrounds Speedway.
Deegan made her Camping World SRX Series debut earlier this year in a substitute role for regular driver Tony Kanaan, finishing second to race winner Tony Stewart June 19 at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway. Deegan is back in place of Kanaan this Saturday night at Slinger (Wis.) Speedway. At Nashville, however, Deegan will race against Kanaan as a part of the 12-driver field.
