Lou Modestino Track Talk
Here’s this week’s Track Talk, from northeastern correspondent, Lou Modestino.
Corey Heim won the Craftsman Truck at New Hampshire.   Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA took fourth while Corey LaJoie (originally from Norwalk, CT) ended up eighth.  Mike Christopher of Plainville, CT ended up 13th.  Long Island, NY Star Patrick Emerling was not as lucky and the best he could do was to finish 28th.
In the Cup Series race on Sunday. Ryan Blaney won, with pole winner Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing fourth.  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up 14th.
Nice to see that NHMS had a big crowd on hand.  Moving the event to a Play-off date from Mid-July was the right thing to do.
