Months of Track Prep Have New Hampshire Motor Speedway Ready for Race Fans

The NHMS Operations and Maintenance teams have worked tirelessly for months to ensure New Hampshire Motor Speedway is ready to welcome race fans starting this Saturday when campgrounds open for New England’s only NASCAR Playoffs weekend next weekend.

LOUDON, N.H. – This Saturday, Sept. 13 marks the start of nine days of NASCAR in New England with campgrounds opening at 8 a.m. to welcome thousands of campers from all over who make New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) their home-away-from-home while their favorite drivers battle it out on “The Magic Mile.” The NHMS Operations and Maintenance teams have worked tirelessly for months preparing the 1,200-acre property, from the campgrounds to the racetrack, to shine its brightest.

NASCAR Cup Title Favorites Have Work To Do After Fraught Southern 500

DARLINGTON, S.C. — It was a Southern 500 race that didn’t follow form—not anywhere close.

The presumptive favorites for the NASCAR Cup Series championship didn’t perform like favorites in Sunday night’s Cook Out Southern 500, the opening race in the 2025 Playoffs.

NASCAR Xfinity Series To Have New Name In 2026

NBC Sports reports NASCAR has signed O’Reilly Auto Parts to be the entitlement sponsor of the Xfinity Series beginning next year, the sanctioning body announced Monday.

The series will be known as the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series beginning in 2026.

This season marks the end of Xfinity as the sponsor for NASCAR’s No. 2 series. Xfinity has sponsored the series since 2015.

Sedgwick and PT Autosport Have Plenty to Play For at Road Atlanta

Here’s How The New England Drivers And Those Who Have Connections With The Six State New England Area Did Over The Weekend At Talladega

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. won the Cup race while Corey LaJoie finished 18^th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placing 24^th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up 33rd while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 35th. Corey LaJoie is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who served his racing apprenticeship while a resident of Norwalk, CT before moving South to NC.

Sammy Smith ended up having a great day in the Xfinity Series pulling off the win. Stamford, CT’s Parker Kligerman came in 12^th with Blair Perkins finishing 18^th then there was Anthony Alfredo doing double duty coming in 29^th. Next was Kyle Weatherman in 31st. Perkins and Weatherman along with Alfredo are teammates in the three-car stable owned by Cape Cod’s Chris Our and his daughter who are residents of Chatham, MA.

21 Team Confident They Will Have a Good Run at Bristol

Harrison Burton and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team are headed to the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway needing a stellar run to advance to the Round of 12 in the Cup Series Playoffs.

Burton is 16th in the standings, 20 points below the cutoff for advancement to the next round. After Saturday night’s 500-lapper on the high-banked half-mile, the bottom four drivers in the Playoff standings will be eliminated from championship contention. (more…)

For the First Time Cup Competitors Will Have Options on Goodyear Tires at Richmond
